We’ve rebuilt Sub Guru as a modern Progressive Web App (PWA). Same powerful features, more reliability, a consistent modern look and feel, a desktop browser experience and instant updates. This new app experience is now available in a beta mode where you can try it out and provide us feedback on how to further improve it. Going forward we will fully transition everyone to this new PWA Sub Guru app so everyone gets the same great experience.

How to Get Started
MacOs/Windows
Simply go to test.subguru.co and login using your existing credentials. You can choose to allow notifications so that you get the same SubGuru notifications on your computer that you get on your phone.
iPhone
Open test.subguru.co in Safari.
Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow).
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add — the PWA icon will appear on your home screen.
Android
Open the test.subguru.co in Chrome.
A banner or prompt may appear — tap Install or Add to Home Screen. If not: tap the ⋮ menu → Add to Home Screen.
Confirm by tapping Add — it will install like an app.
How to Enable Notifications
Android & iOS
– After you install the application it will request notification access and you must ensure you grant access just as you would with any other application.
MacOS + Safari
– Safari > Preferences > Website > Notifications – Make sure check box for “Allow websites to ask for permission?” Is checked.
– System Preferences > Notifications > Safari – make sure Safari is enabled to receive notifications (badge, sound, banner)
Chrome
– At the top right(3 dots), select More Settings > Select Privacy and Security >Site Settings Notifications.
Select the option that you want as your default setting. Next to “Allowed to send notifications,” select Add. Enter app.subguru.co.
